Renovations have begun on the buildings which were purchased last year for the church in Kibera.   When completed – hopefully by the end of the year – the church will be able to extend their vision by running the Lunch Club, Breakfast Club and Ladies Business Initiative Programme from the building as well as the Water Guard programme (providing safe drinking and cooking water for the local community).

The Ladies of the church are extending their product range and are now making aprons, cushions and fabric toys; adding to the jewellery they started with – they are constantly seeking new markets, visiting places to promote their goods that they would never have dreamed of 12 months ago.  Through this initiative the ladies are developing personal growth and confidence as well as working to help feed and educate their own children.
