Dear Pastors & Leaders

My sincere apologies for missing December issue – but welcome to January 2014 – How this year has burst forth – it seemed so far away then suddenly here it is and fighting to race ahead full of blessings and challenges.

Questions race forward – What will this year bring, where will it take us? Isn’t it wonderful to know that no matter what the year brings, no matter how many changes are taking place, we are still here, serving the same God who is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever.

He is constant, never leaving or forsaking us. He is our dwelling place in times of joy, grief, questioning, peace; when we are full of faith, and when our faith does not seem to be enough; in plenty and in lack.

The year for me has opened with Psalm 91. All I want to do is read and drink in this beautiful psalm. Some days I cannot move past verse 4 – His protective strong arms lovingly enfolding us whilst He whispers wonderful words of encouragement and promise to us.

What a strong place to be in – close enough to hear what He has to say, close enough to know that we cannot go it alone, close enough to know and accept – we need Him and only Him – our All Sufficient One. What great joy it brings. What fortitude.

I pray that it will be our dwelling place from where His light will fill and enable us, giving the strength, purpose and direction for 2014.

Have a really blessed month (least the remainder of it) and let us look forward to an amazing year in Christ Jesus.
